The pistes

Forty-two and a half kilometres of piste split into 17 km blue, 16 km red and 9 km black. There is somewhere to go for beginners and for the more confident, and the area is big enough that you will not get bored of it in a week.

The mountain runs from 868 to 2118 metres, which matters at the end of the season too: there is still snow up top when it is already spring down below.

Snow park and halfpipe

The snow park is 800 metres long, with rails, kickers and boxes, and it has the largest halfpipe in Europe. The Kreischberg has hosted snowboard and freestyle world championships – there is a reason so many boarders come here.

If you fancy a change for a day

The Lachtal and the Turracher Höhe are both within reach. On a week-long stay it is worth setting aside at least a day for one of them.
